Today Was a Good Day!
The ride on the “Hope” Train continues.
Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts. I just left an appointment with my Oncologist a few minutes ago where I got my MRI results from this morning and am pleased to report….”CLEAR SCAN!!!”. They also told me that “Marilyn” is shrinking too (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, please refer to the previous post “With All Due Respect, sir…”). On top of that, I didn’t even have to use my AK…I gotta say it was a good day!

YAY!! That’s awesome man! Praise God!
YAY! Glad to hear!!
Awesome! Your news has kept us smiling all day here in West Seattle!
Best news!! Good day indeed!
Rejoicing with you! I’m riding the Hope Train with you on this journey. My MS Team’s name is “Team Hope!” Awesome!
ONe of my visuals is that chemo is the train and its warning signal calls out all the dogs (cancer cells) to bark. Once they bark, they are through. The train calls them out of hiding. Didn’t have to use my AK is scary. Do you have to take cortisone pills when you have chemo? Like prednizone?
Dear Alex,
Your blogs are truly inspirational! I love the depth of your writing about the Hope Train, Chariots of Fire, and Apollo 13. The movies are some of my all time favorites but I hadn’t seen what you saw…until today. I’m still praying fervently for your healing and that you’ll be much closer to our Lord and Savior through it all. Both are being answered in the affirmative which builds my faith too. In Christ’s service, Bill
